Supportive Housing Services
This program provides a broad continuum of residential/ housing options to persons with serious mental illness. These options include 24 hour/7 day per week group homes, respite rooms, and apartment supported housing arrangements for individuals involved in other community counseling center programs. Individuals are assisted with developing skills that are required to live in the community independently. Some behavioral health issues may interfere with the person’s ability to concentrate or to get along and interact with others. Extended or repeated stays in the hospital have resulted in individuals being unprepared to manage everyday tasks and decisions that allow for independent living. Community Residential Rehabilitation Services provide both a step-down and diversion from Warren State Hospital. The program also collaborates with other organizations to provide an emergency shelter or homeless individuals and families.
Supportive Housing
Supportive housing is a combination of supportive services to help people maintain independent living in the community.
